For us teachers, instructors and other learning professionals, producing sound instructional videos has become an essential skill.

    In this session, you will discover TechSmith Camtasia, an all-in-one solution for creating your own tutorials, instructional videos, training videos and software demonstrations. In particular, you will learn how to:

    • convert a PowerPoint presentation to video
    • capture your screen and webcam to create tutorials
    • record your narration and synchronize the audio with the video
    • add transitions, animations and other effects
    • place an interactive quiz within your videos
    • export your videos as .mp4 files and/or SCORM packages that can be easily uploaded to your LMS platform

    By the end of this session, you will be able to use TechSmith Camtasia to produce your own instructional videos.

    'Copy & paste' is the most common mistake when doing learning tasks. We all make mistakes in searching and collecting information. Turnitin technology helps to detect errors immediately and show them to the student himself, then he can correct them and return to his work. That way, he performs better in his studies. At the same time, Turnitin helps teachers save time with feedback and grading. 

    The webinar introduces Turnitin solutions and their use as part of the Teams or Moodle environment. Turnitin is a globally leading system for detecting and preventing plagiarism. 

    About the speaker:

    Risto Korhonen has been working with Turnitin solutions for more than 10 years. He has assisted both colleges and high schools in utilizing Turnitin for teaching and learning purposes. He believes that in preventing plagiarism, it is important to guide both students and teachers to create a good common academic culture. Most cases are unintentional mistakes that we detect with the help of technology and that we can correct to improve our results.
